NJLA Blog Commenting Guidelines
The NJLA Blog, along with disseminating information, should also provide a communicative and collaborative environment for its readers that, at the same time, protects every reader's freedom of speech. For this reason, each post will include a comment feature to allow readers to comment on what they read.
Acceptable comments include:
* Positive or negative feedback on the content of a specific post (and not a specific individual, implied or otherwise).
* Links and comments related to the content of the post.
Comments that justify deletion without discussion include:
* Commentary that is in no way related to the specific post
* Commentary that may constitute libel and slander
* Advertisements and spam
Comments that do not fit neatly into either of these categories are subject to review by the Managing Editor and Blog Managers.
Unless otherwise stated, all comments are assumed to be the personal opinion of the individual author.

Hi Sophie,
How can someone get posting privileges on this blog? I am a Reference Librarian at the Burlington County Library System, a member of NJLA and the Reference Section of NJLA and I would like to be able to post.
Thanks,
Lisa

How do you subscribe to the blog?

Nancy,
Excellent question!
If you have a Bloglines account, or other feed-reader account, you can subscribe by pasting the feed URL into your feed-reader. The feed URL is http://blog.njla.org/atom.xml.
If you don't have a feed-reader account, you can either sign up for one (it's easy!) or you can simply bookmark the blog in your web browser and visit the blog daily to read updates.
I'll publish a post all about this topic this week!

Going to send this and see if it is received on the other end.
I am very interesting in changing carrers from HR to Library Services - the catch - I am 46 - no college. Am I being foolish to attemp such a step.
Not sure where to start - salary potentials put me off. I am very close to Rutgers University.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom to impart?
